REMPACTOR auger type compactors pre-crush
the material before it enters the receiver bin. This pre-crushing
action allows more material inside the bin, filling it up with material,
not empty air space. Additionally, by continually moving forward
the auger unit does not have a ram extension and retraction cycle
to wait for before you can resume placing material into the charge
box. This feature allows our compactor to be up to five times faster
than a conventional hydraulic compactor. Further, the REMPACTOR
pushes the material through a smaller diameter opening allowing
receiver body separation from the compactor to be less messy. Less
mess equals less labor spent on clean-up! Hydraulic compactors require
large quantities of hydraulic fluid that can present problems when
a hose fitting leaks, blows off, or ruptures, costing the user money.
All REMPACTOR models utilize a quiet electric drive with a simple
drive system. Hydraulic fluid is not used in the main drive system.
