| REMPACTOR is a division of REM-INC., the parent
company of RECYCLING EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING, INC. We have been building equipment for the recycling industry since 1978. Dedicated to the quality of our products, we have produced over five thousand pieces of equipment for this industry. Nearly two years in development, our REMPACTOR compactor units represent our desire to expand our product line and participate in the compaction business. The design we have chosen is proven and time tested with the ability to out perform conventional compactors. Specifically, this unit performs better than others in the areas of; compaction ratios, continuous material feeding and minimal service requirements. Environmental threats are reduced as hydraulic oil is not used in the main drive package, and the unit has a smaller footprint (an important factor in the eyes of the architects and engineers who specify this equipment in new construction). REMPACTOR units are built utilizing the highest standards and quality materials available. Our non-lubricated bushing and thrust-washers are products designed for the demanding environment of the steel manufacturing industry. REMPACTORS use an electric helical gear motor turning the auger unit with a sprocket and roller chain drive package. REMPACTORS are built utilizing basic principles of engineering, where simple design elements are used to provide a superior trouble-free compactor.
